For most, the start of a new year is time for goal-setting and ambitious planning. Hopefully you started this before the ball dropped and didn’t forget your research on the top construction trade shows/conferences to attend in 2019. If you didn’t tackle this yet, don’t worry, we have a list of some of the better shows for you to check out.
For contractors, insurance professionals and industry partners, these events are an invaluable opportunity to catch up with peers, share project successes and challenges, and work together to drive the industry forward. The industry also uses trade shows and conferences to shine a spotlight on new trends, the latest building materials and services. The industry is embracing technology, so you’ll likely find technology pavilions at these shows highlighting all the new “tools” being used on construction sites.
Construction is big business, so it’s no wonder that there are some major shows in this industry. Triax has a presence at most of these shows – whether we’re exhibiting, speaking or attending – so check out our Events page to learn where you can see our technology in action and/or meet with a member of our team. Below are dates, locations and information on a number of industry events taking place in 2019:
Long Beach, California

Nearly 100 years old, this convention will include more than a dozen educational breakout sessions and keynote presentations, and products and services from more than 125 companies in the AGC Equipment, Technology & Construction Solutions Expo, including Triax Technologies. Geared toward business and IT leaders in the AEC field, this event features sessions on emerging technologies for boosting productivity, profitability and safety as well as networking opportunities. CMAA National Conference & Trade Show
October 14-16, 2018
ARIA Las Vegas
CMAA’s flagship event, which is held each fall, includes a comprehensive exhibit hall, plenary and breakout sessions, and the annual Industry Recognition Banquet.
Dozens of educational sessions, keynote addresses by well-known speakers, an on-site Innovation Lab and new product demonstrations are some of the highlights of this conference that attracted more than 3,000 professionals to its 2018 event. Lean Construction Institute Congress
Fort Worth, TX
There are so many reasons to attend an LCI Congress – education, site visits and sessions specific to owners, member of the design community, trade partners and general contractors. Stories of Lean successes and challenges are the hallmark of Congress, and 2019 will be no exception! BONUS: One path to accelerating lean construction practices during the building phase is technology. Download this white paper to explore the background of lean construction, the rise of innovative tech and real-time data, and where the two intersect.
Design-Build Conference & Expo
Attracting thousands of attendees each year, this event features hundreds of exhibitors and educational sessions for those who are new to the delivery method as well as design-build experts. (Design-build differs from the traditional design-bid-build approach, whereby owners outsource the design work on a negotiated-price basis and then contract out construction services on a low-bid basis and will comprise 44% of construction spending between 2018 and 2021.)
This event attracts about 10,000 professionals from construction, manufacturing, architecture and engineering for learning, networking and knowledge sharing, and includes the pre-conference Connect & Construct summit the day before the conference kicks off.
