#ICYMI: Triax Technologies was named one of the 2019 Best Places to Work in CT. This program, created by the Hartford Business Journal and Best Companies Group, identifies, recognizes and honors the best employers in Connecticut. Headquartered in Norwalk with a Product Development Center in East Hartford, we’re committed to transforming the construction industry through intelligent, innovative technology, and as an organization we encourage individual initiative, embrace collaboration, and act for the customer first (and always).
What does it take to be named one of the Best Places to Work in CT? We asked member of #TeamTriax what they love about coming to work:
Steve Rudnick, Client Engagement Specialist: We are always working to meet – and exceed – customer expectations, and the most rewarding part of this job is being able to work with some of the most incredible people I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. Construction is responsible for the roads that connect us, buildings that house us and structures/skylines that define us, and I enjoy working alongside people from different backgrounds to drive the industry to a safer, smarter future.
Mark Wagner, Senior Electrical Engineer: The Triax environment is very collaborative, leveraging the skills and talents of each member to meet overall organizational goals, while simultaneously allowing for individual growth. Our goal is to deliver high-tech, highly valuable and highly reliable products, and the challenge of designing compact, battery-powered, always on products was very appealing.
Jenice Powell, Human Resources Manager: I love working at Triax because of the people. I might be a bit biased, but we have some of the most knowledgeable and dedicated employees working at Triax. The team motivates me to do better because they bring 150% of themselves to work every day while having fun. I work with a great group of people who makes me feel like I belong and that is important especially when you are spending so much time with your co-workers. I am proud of the work that we have been able to accomplish in the short space of time since we launched our product.
Greg Probert, Manager, Manufacturing and Hardware Design: The most challenging part of my job is the constant switch between designing new products and ensuring our current products are manufactured smoothly and without any quality issues. My favorite part of the job is going home every day with a sense of accomplishment. Knowing that what I do every day affects how Triax – and construction – performs in the present and future drives me to become a better employee and a better engineer.
Scott Caudle, Strategic Account Manager: When I first learned about Triax’s commitment to improving construction safety and productivity, I thought, “This is a company I want to be a part of.” As an architect, I had the privilege of working on projects that affect people in a positive way every day, and as a paramedic, I have the privilege of helping people during their most trying times. Now, I am very happy to now be part of Triax’s mission to make projects safer, smarter and faster.
Phu Nguyen, Inventory Specialist: I’ve been with this company for two months now and it’s the best job I have had. I know my job within this company is to oversee inventory, and as our company grows, so will the inventory and my responsibilities within the company. I hope to travel often and deploy more sites as I too become an expert is our solution, and I only hope to work my best and help Triax’s expansion in any way I can.
