Session to Showcase IoT Use Cases to Increase Safety, Minimize Risk
NORWALK, Conn., Feb. 20, 2018 – Triax Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of technology for the connected jobsite, today announced that its co-founder and CEO, Chad Hollingsworth, will join Doug Ware, VP of Risk Management, Suffolk in a presentation that addresses the impact of technology on jobsite safety. This presentation will take place at the 99th Annual Associated General Contractors (AGC) Annual Convention, which runs from Feb. 25-27 at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans. Additionally, Triax will be showcasing its IoT-based Spot-r solutions at the conference.

Hollingsworth will discuss safety challenges in the workplace, and how wearables and sensors are increasing jobsite visibility, and helping contractors to minimize and prevent accidents. Ware will discuss real-world use cases of this technology at Suffolk and how the firm has implemented Triax’s Spot-r sensors to monitor site safety and real-time worker headcounts, and strengthen current evacuation procedures.
