Triax executives will be on the road next month for two major industry events that focus on innovations and new technologies in construction—the Industrial Grade Innovation Conference & Expo and BuiltWorlds Projects LA Smart Jobsites Conference.
IGI Conference & Expo
The Association of Union Constructors’ IGI Conference & Expo runs Sept. 10 to Sept. 12 in Cincinnati. The event gives technology firms and entrepreneurs the opportunity to introduce their products and services to top executives in the industrial construction and maintenance industry, according to the event’s website. The conference will feature discussions about technologies that have the potential to revolutionize the sector, which has been slow to adapt to innovation and is experiencing labor supply shortages.
During the event, Triax will be on hand to speak about how the Spot-r jobsite platform can help the industry proactively manage projects to improve worker safety, minimize risk and uncover actionable insights. The Internet of Things-enabled solution provides construction managers with real-time insights into what’s happening on a jobsite at any given moment and is used by leading contractors around the country.
Conference attendees can connect with Triax and schedule an appointment to learn more about the Spot-r solution through the Triax website.
BuiltWorlds Projects LA Smart Jobsites Conference
During the same week, Triax leaders also will attend the BuiltWorlds Projects LA Smart Jobsites Conference, which runs Sept. 11 and Sept. 12 in Marina Del Rey, Calif. The event examines technologies that are collecting data on jobsites to help contractors and builders make more informed decisions and keep workers safe, productive and efficient, according to the event’s website.
At BuiltWorlds, Ian Ouelette, Vice President of Product, will participate in a panel discussion titled Wearables & The Worker at 4:10 p.m., Sept. 11. Omar Ghazzaoui, Co-Founder and CEO of Ottogee, and Robert Hartelust, Senior Project Manager for Skanska, will join Ouelette on the panel.
The trio will speak about why wearable solutions are growing in popularity among top industry players and how construction firms can leverage information from them to bolster project management.
Next up: The Triax team will travel to Phoenix for Procore Groundbreak from Oct 8 to Oct 10, and Fort Worth for the 21st Lean Construction Institute Congress 2019 from Oct. 14 to Oct. 18. During both events, attendees will learn more about Lean successes and challenges in the construction industry.
